Shipping Policy
To ensure the success of a delivery please include:

Full and correct recipient delivery details with your order

Recipient’s full name, phone and / or mobile phone number

Recipient Eircode / Postcode with the recipient’s delivery address

Your name, email address and phone number so that we can clarify any query prior to delivery

We will not contact the recipient in advance of delivery unless specifically requested to do so by you, however, we do need these details in case of any delivery difficulty with your order.

If the intended recipient is not at the delivery address, or if a suitable 3rd party is not available to receive delivery on their behalf when a delivery is attempted, our standard procedure is:

To make telephone contact with the intended recipient to arrange alternative delivery arrangements and / or we will leave the order with an immediate neighbour or in a safe place with a calling card delivered advising the intended recipient where their order has been left.
Failing this a calling card is left for the intended recipient advising them to contact us to make alternative arrangements.
Where a delivery is to an address such as an hotel, workplace, hospital etc, a suitable 3rd party, such as a receptionist or security officer, may accept delivery on the intended recipient’s behalf.
As proof of delivery, we now manually record delivery time and date details for any confirmation queries.

Specific delivery times cannot be accepted unless agreed with us in advance. This is due to the wide area we cover and also because of the high volumes of traffic on Irish roads. Orders for business addresses will be delivered during normal office hours.
If you request a specific delivery time without agreement from us we will do our very best to honour this but unfortunately we can not guarantee it.
For morning and short notice delivery of Sympathy Tributes to a church please provide us with the service time and location and we will confirm if a timed delivery is available. Alternative options may be possible such as delivery to the deceased’s home or to a funeral home.

Delivery Charge by Destination:
A delivery charge applies to all delivered orders – this is calculated at checkout. It starts from €10 and depends on the delivery destination selected. The delivery charge is detailed for you at checkout before you make any payment – there are no hidden extra charges.

Return & Exchange Policy
At Flower And Friends, we strive to provide you with the freshest flowers and highest quality service. However, if for any reason you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we are here to help.

Returns and Refunds

Perishable Goods: Due to the perishable nature of flowers, we do not accept returns for fresh floral arrangements. However, if you are not satisfied with the quality of your flowers, please contact us within 24 hours of delivery. We will review your complaint and, if appropriate, offer a replacement or a refund.
Non-Perishable Goods: For non-perishable items such as vases, flower food, and other accessories, you have the right to return the items within 14 days of receiving them, provided they are unused and in their original packaging.

How to Request a Return or Refund

Contact Us: To initiate a return or refund, please contact us. Please provide your order number, a description of the issue, and any relevant photos of the product.
Approval: Once your return request is received, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your return/refund. If approved, we will provide instructions on how to return the item, if applicable.
Refunds Process

Approval and Processing: If your refund is approved, we will process it within 7-10 business days. The refund will be applied to your original method of payment.
Partial Refunds: In certain situations, only partial refunds may be granted (e.g., if items are not in their original condition or if they are damaged for reasons not due to our error).
Damaged or Defective Items
Reporting: If you receive an item that is damaged or defective, please notify us immediately upon receipt at hello@flowerandfriends.ie with your order number and photos of the damaged or defective item.
Resolution: We will arrange for a replacement or a refund as soon as possible.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange a defective or damaged item for the same item, contact us at hello@flowerandfriends.ie.

Cancellations
6.1 Orders for Fresh Flowers: If you wish to cancel an order for fresh flowers, please contact us as soon as possible. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled delivery date. Orders cancelled within this period will be fully refunded.
6.2 Non-Perishable Goods: Orders for non-perishable goods can be cancelled within 24 hours of placing the order for a full refund.
